WHO WE ARE
At the Tarrant County Infant Health Network (IHN), we believe that the health of our community is reflected in the well-being of our smallest members.
In Tarrant County, too many infants from our underserved populations tragically never reach their first birthdays. African American infants are most deeply affected, with a mortality rate more than twice the national average.
The Infant Health Network was founded in 2001 because Tarrant County citizens believed that the status quo was simply unacceptable. Today, we continue to fight to make sure every baby in out county enjoys a happy and healthy first birthday.
We stand together as volunteers - health care professionals, government officials and concerned citizens - to educate, inspire and empower our community.
